– Her birthday was celebrated in style and well attended by dignitaries – Daddy Freeze showered praises on her and extended a thank you note to well wishers Benedicta Elechi, the partner of popular controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze recently turned 40. To celebrate the new age, a private birthday bash took place in her honour at the Southern Sun hotel in Ikoyi. The dinner which took place last weekend saw many prolific guests in attendance, such as the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, Maria Elechi, Louie Duke, Slim Olobe Arije, Mannie and Grace Essien, Captain Stilo Oni, Captain Usoro and Dami Essien, Irene Iwerebon, Fifi Oniwo and several other people. The Nigerian-Romanian born OAP himself stepped out in clean-cut blue Aramanda suit to support his lover.
The birthday celebration looked all the more like a family get together with the couple’s respective children wearing similar white and blue outfits that complemented their parent’s bluish wears.
Several family moments and portraits were captured that put the entire family in full view. The pictures featured in no particular order the two children Daddy Freeze had in his former marriage to Opeyemi Olarinde and the three children Benedicta also had with her ex-husband who she claimed was gay. The son the couple had since their relationship began was also featured.
Benedicta who is also the CEO of Dictachi Foods Nigeria Limited appreciated her guests via her Instagram page especially the former governor of Anambra who she referred to as amiable. Daddy Freeze did not also mince words as he also took to his Instagram page to celebrate his companion and the owner of his heart. He particularly called her the first lady of the professed religious movement he leads: “Thank you everyone who celebrated the owner of my heart and First Lady of the #FreeNation in Christ!”
Even before the private birthday dinner, the radio veteran did well to shower the food entrepreneur with a lengthy birthday wish felicitating her special day and passing across a general message to women.
