The Governor of Edo State said, he has no plans of chasing the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole out of the State, but if he continues to cause problem in the state, he won’t have mercy on him.
Obaseki won the Governorship election in the state for his second term in office on Saturday, 19 September said, Oshimhole is trying to cause issues between him and Osagie Ize Iyamu.
Obaseki, won on the platform of Nigeria main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he won against his opponent, Pastor Ize-Iyamu from the country ruling party, All Progressives Congress candidate who has Oshiomhole’s backing.
During a chart with news men, Obaseki who was answering questions about the comments he made during his election campaign to chase Oshiomhole out of Edo State said, “I don’t have plan to pursue Oshiomhole out of Edo, but if he continues to cause problems, we won’t show mercy.”
Also , the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has issued a certificate of return to Governor Godwin Obaseki and his running mate, Phillips Shauibu, the winners of the Edo State Governorship election that was conducted on Saturday 19 September, 2020.
