On Monday, two dismissed police corporals were arraigned at a High Court in Kubwa, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for allegedly murdering a 69-year-old Solomon Eze, on May 10,2020.
In court, the ex-policemen, Abubakar Adamu, 28, and Ibrahim Alfa, 36, pleaded not guilty.
The suspects, the ex-policemen, were attached to the Federal Capital Territory Command, allegedly shot and killed Eze, a passerby, while carrying out an arrest around Karmo.
The ex-policemen were tried by the Federal Capital Territory police command and were dismissed from service.
Donatus Abah, the prosecuting counsel, asked that the suspects who have been in police custody be remanded in prison custody in Kuje.
The judge, Justice Bello Kawu, remanded the suspects in prison custody and the case was adjourned to January 25,2021.
