President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has been called out by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, following the resignation of Manuel Merino, Peru President, over attack on protesters.
Remember that Merino resigned after the death of two protesters who were freely protesting against the government in Lima, the capital city.
It was gathered that police operatives fired tear gas and shotgun pellets to repel demonstrators who threw objects back to the policemen.
Nnamdi Kanu in his reaction to the development condemned the Nigerian government over its approach on the peaceful and unarmed End SARS protest across the country.
He wrote, “Peru President Merino resigns following street protests but in Nigeria, following #EndSARS protests, Nigeria president is either persecuting and freezing bank accounts of Nigerian youths or slaughtering them at #Obigbo and Nigerians are seemingly tolerating it.”
