Nigerian lady recounts how she was arrested as a prostitute by Lagos police – A Nigerian lady has taken to the social media platform to narrate how she was recently arrested and declared a prostitute by the police in Lagos – According to the gist, she was visiting a female friend when the police raided their home – Unbeknownst to her, the friends had stolen from a man whom they slept with, hence the arrests Being careful about the company one keeps can never be overrated and this Nigerian lady identified as @Sochiikamma can attest to the importance of this. She recently took to social media to reveal how her friendship almost landed her in jail. In a series of tweets, she narrated how she got arrested and was tagged a prostitute when she visited her friend shortly after she got paid for a job she did by a client. She revealed that she was in their apartment when the police raided the place and took her along. She wrote on Twitter:”So I went to collect my pay for a job I did & decided to see a friend I’ve been posting. Got there & we were deep in gist together with her other friends when someone starts banging on her gate. I’m eating & the next thing I hear is “pack all of them. Awon olosho” I pick up my phone to call my mum when 2 officers enter & one of them tells me to drop my phone or he’ll end me. At this moment I’m shouting “oga I’m just a visitor sir”. 19-year-old boy arrested for stabbing his girlfriend to death in Edo state (photo)

It has been reported that a 19-year-old boy, Junior Baba, was arrested by the Edo state police command for killing his 18-year-old girlfriend and dumping her body by the roadside. Punch reports that this unfortunate incident happened around Ogida quarters in Ovia South-West local government area of the state. Baba committed this crime after engaging in an argument with late Matilda Odiri. It was further reported that Odiri suspected Baba of been unfaithful. The deceased was said to have visited Baba’s residence in the area, where she intended to pass the night before the argument ensued on Saturday, July 7. According to Punch, the deceased was said to have accused her boyfriend of allegedly having an affair with another girl after several observation of him keeping late nights. This got the young man angry as he stepped into the kitchen, picked up a knife and stabbed her to death before dumping her body by the roadside around 11pm. After committing this crime, he fled to Aduwawa in Benin but was arrested after his father reported the case to the police. This was confirmed by the state’s commissioner of police, Johnson Kokumo.

Cardi B’s husband Offset arrested for firearm possession days after daughter’s birth

Rapper Offset, husband of popular female rapper Cardi B, who recently welcomed a baby girl has been arrested in Atlanta. Offset whose real name is Kiari Cephus was arrested for being in possession of a firearm. The 26-year-old rapper had also been charged with possession of hard substances. It was gathered that he was taken into custody after he was pulled over for having illegally tinted car windows. According to TMZ, the rapper was booked at Clayton County Jail around 6.42pm on Friday, July 20. He was reportedly accused of two felonies of possession of a weapon during a crime and possession of a firearm by a felon. TMZ also revealed that Offset was also charged with possession of hard substances and improper lane change. The arrest sadly occurred ten days after the rapper welcomed his fourth child with wife Cardi B. The newborn baby girl Kulture Kiari Cephus is the first child of the female rapper.
