Biafra: Nigerian govt given 90 days to conduct referendum, asked to withdraw police, army

OEAS is an international governmental organization that promotes self-determination and the end to colonial era boundaries in Africa. The Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS), has renewed its call for the Nigerian government to meet the demands for the actualization of Biafra. In a statement to DAILY POST on Sunday by its General Secretary, Ebenezer Derek Mbongo Akwanga, Jr., and Jonathan Levy, Chief Administrative Officer, the group noted that, “today, the people of Biafra fear the brutality of the Nigeria police who are slaughtering their own citizens and arming herdsman as pro-government militias. “The situation will surely escalate unless immediate action is taken,” it said. The OEAS went further to make the following demands to the Nigerian government: “All federal military and police forces in Biafra to stand down and return to their barracks. “A snap referendum on Biafran self-determination to be held within 90 days with OEAS, UNPO, and nonaligned observers supervising the balloting process. “The situation in Nigeria is fast spiraling out of control,” the organization said.

Nnamdi Kalu Has Threatened To Establish Radio Biafra In Daura Katsina, the homwtown of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the wanted pro-Biafra activist, Mazi Nnamdi Kalu, he threatened to established Radio Biafra in Daura Katsina, the hometown of the President. He made this public, while broadcasting through IPOB’s spokesperson Emma Powerful. The radio would be launched within six weeks, according to him. Nnamdi Kanu stated that the President’s wife, First Lady Aisha Buhari would soon start listening to the pro-Biafra radion station in six weeks. The statement reads: “The attention of the global movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the approval of N654m by the Federal Government of Nigeria to monitor and crash Radio Biafra frequencies in the country particularly in South-East and South-South geopolitical zones. “This wicked but futile decision was taken during their Federal Executive Council meeting held Wednesday, 7th of October 2020. “In fact to prove to them how formidable we are, within six weeks from now, IPOB will launch Radio Biafra in Daura, the home town of Buhari who presided over the FEC that took this foolish decision. “Any time Aisha visits Daura she will receive Radio Biafra frequency and listen to the gospel of freedom by our Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.”
