Actress Funke Adesiyan narrates her experience following a farm attack by herdsmen

The recent crises occasioned by the herdsmen in several parts of the country have taken a toll on a lot of Nigerians, so that even those in the entertainment industry have had a fair share of the mounting disasters. A well acclaimed Yoruba Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan, took a walk down memory lane even as she narrated the ordeal she had in 2016. According to her, she had purchased a farmland spanning five hectares at Ijebu Omu in Ogun state, where she took to planting newly developed watermelon hybrid seedlings. Adesiyan recounted that having worked so hard on the farm, she took the liberty of granting herself a vacation, but this was not without visiting and executing yet another project in her tomato farmland located at Iseyin. After a successful one month vacation touring China with her Iran and Pakistani partners, Adesiyan took a stop at Dubai. And upon arriving the Dubai airport with the hopes of coming back to Nigeria, she was alerted via her mobile phone that her watermelon farm in Ijebu Omu had been ravaged by herdsmen who attacked the area The shock from the experience caused her to become unconscious and thereafter hospitalised at an undisclosed hospital where she was admitted for five days. Going forward, the actress shared a picture of herself in the hospital.
