I will quit alcohol – Man says after ordering 11 plates of food (photo)

Over the years men and women have been warned about their uncontrollable consumption of alcohol. This was done in order to avoid accidents for those who drive while they are drunk. Also, alcohol addicts are likely to do what they did not plan for be it positive or negative. Such was the case of this young man, who drank to stupor and began doing things he never imagine he would have done on a normal day. Identified as Neyo DonP (@donp69) on Twitter, the young has finally revealed plans to quit drinking after he ordered for 11 plates of food when drunk at a restaurant. His post reads: “I ordered for food this morning while I was drunk and guess what they said I ordered for 11 plates Ofada rice, Semo and efo, Egusi and Semo with Jollof rice… I’m quitting alcohol.” According to him, he disclosed that he ordered for Ofada rice, Semovita with Vegetable/Egusi soup and Jollof rice. Going through his post, the young man further disclosed that the restaurant called him later that night to find out if he was ok and needed more food.

41-year-old man dupes his fiancée of N4.3m, marries another woman

– A Nigerian man has reportedly been arrested after he duped his fiancee – The man reportedly collected N4,285,000 from his fiancee after their introduction – It was gathered that the family later discovered that he was married to another woman A 41-year-old woman identified as Matthew Atewe has been arrested and arraigned to a magistrate court for defrauding his fiancee Gladys Imagnenikaro of N4,285,000, after their introduction ceremony. The man had reportedly gone to meet the lady’s parents and claiming his love for her. He had declared his intentions to marry her and became a trusted friend to the family. According to The Nation, after the introduction ceremony the lady gave Atewe who she believed was her fiance goods worth 12,000 pounds (N3,000,000) to him to help her sell. Gladys’ younger brother Kenneth Imagbenikaro while giving his testimony in court also revealed that Gladys sent another N1,285,000 to Atewe to be deposited in her account. Kenneth added that she sent him to retrieve the goods and money after she discovered that her fiance was no longer being truthful to her. He said: “Due to the trust my sister had in him, she sent him goods worth €12,000 which is equivalent of N3m. My sister also sent N1,285,000 to him to put in her account.”

Man narrates how his friend got into ‘trouble’ after treating hit and run victim

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to narrate how his friend was forced to pay the bills of a hit and run victim after she was brought to the hospital for treatment. Sometimes good deeds don’t always get rewarded and this clearly reflects in the story of a Nigerian man. According to this Twitter user identified as Femi, his friend is currently being made to pay N9,000 to the hospital. In his post, he stated that the girl who was a victim of hit and run was rushed to the hospital where his friend works. In order to save her from dying, he immediately commenced treatment without demanding for money from the relatives. However, when the time came for them to foot the bills, they were unable to. Femi wrote on Twitter,”A girl was hit by a car and then rushed to my guy’s hospital. Man gave her Iv fluids,blood etc and then referred her to a tertiary hospital. Getting her relatives to pay the bills at the private hospital is now atomic physics. Guess who’s paying the 9k out of his 80k salary?”
