How to check 2020 SSCE results

The Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results has been released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). WAEC had said that the results would be released on Monday, November 2, 2020 and yes, the results have been released. Checking results is very easy and simple. Recall the smart identity card used during the exams, Well, the result checker pin and serial number contained on it are all that is needed. If you are one of the candidates that took part in writing the examination, the steps to follow in order to check your results are these below; 1. Go to https://www.waecdirect.org. which is the WAEC result checking portal. 2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column. 3. Select your Examination Year 4. Select your Examination Type which is “school candidate result”. 5. Then enter the Card Serial Number. 6. Enter the Card PIN afterwards. 7. Lastly, click “Submit” button to get your 2020 WAEC Result.

Jegede hands tribunal, challenges Ondo election result

In not less than three weeks after the Ondo State Governorship Election, the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate in the election, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, has reached the election petition tribunal to challenge the results of the poll. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu,the candidate of the All Progressive Party was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, having scored the highest number of the total votes cast in the election. Akeredolu defeated Jegede and the candidates of other political parties in the poll, according to INEC. On Friday, the PDP candidate, headed to the tribunal to challenge the results after studying the results and not satisfied.
